Kip Roth is a public speaker who’s faced a great deal of discrimination throughout his life so far, due to a congenital birth defect that saw him enter the world not elbows, fingers or thumbs.

Being born this way into the world of the 1960s presented challenges from the beginning, not just for Kip, but also for his family who refused to conventional advice to simply place Kip in the care of institutions, and instead devoted themselves to providing Kip with as normal a life as possible through surgical procedures.

Kip Roth 

Kip Roth was born fingerless, with severely deformed arms and hands.  He underwent years of surgeries to build hands and give him a chance at a normal life. 

He attended and skied for the University of Colorado, and was a four-time National Disabled Ski Champion, a member of the US Paralympic Team and a two-time Silver Medalist at the Paralympics and World Disabled Ski Championships.  

Kip served as his university Class President and, after graduating with Honors, attended the University of Florida College of Law.  He litigated for one of the largest firms in the country, served as Labor Counsel and Director of Alternative Dispute Resolution for a Fortune 20 company and later started his own law firm, developing a successful civil rights practice.  

As lead Plaintiff’s Counsel on multiple class actions, Kip represented over 56 million disabled Americans against Fortune 500 companies to change discriminatory practices.  Kip received numerous awards for his advocacy, drafted legislation for Senator James Jeffords for introduction into the US Senate, and created the Florida ADA Notice Program ensuring that every Florida business received notice of their obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act. 

Today, Kip is a Business Coach, owns a real estate franchise and is a recognized industry expert and national keynote speaker.  He has appeared on Good Morning America and has numerous other television and radio credits.
