ABOUT THE GUEST
Paul Ellis retired in March 2014 has been a Partner in PKF Chartered Accountants for many years.
He is a Trustee on the Trent Bridge Community Trust – the charitable arm of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club – which does tremendous work in the local community, particularly with disadvantaged children; often helping those at risk of exclusion at school get back into mainstream study.
Paul is a member of the General Committee of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club and in 2017, he took on the role of Treasurer for the club. He is also the chair of the Heritage Working Group at Trent Bridge.
Additionally, he recently retired as Treasurer of Notts Athletic Club and was voted in as a Life Member of the club in 2015 and served as President in 2016.
In the past, Paul was a Governor at a large Comprehensive School in West Bridgford for 15 years; many of those years he was chair of the finance committee as well as deputy chair of the governing body.
Paul also chaired for a few years the Sporting HEARTS Charity, which worked towards helping young people from disadvantaged communities be given a sporting chance in life.
