How can we embrace masculinity, connection and savoring life
Meet Tim McAuley who spent the better part of his youth and well into his 20s as a hedonistic pleasure seeker. In 2004, the party came to an end. At age 28 his liver was failing, and he was given an ultimatum: Quit or you’ll be dead by August.
A few years later, on a wave off the coast of San Clemente, California he was reborn a 'soul surfer.' That wave brought him into focus and he got a glimpse of his own potential. Surfing taught him how to get out of his own way and just flow.
Soul Surfing is Tim’s metaphor. “The principles at play in your development as a surfer are applicable to every area of your life.”
With that, Tim founded Soul Surfer School and has been sharing his brand of self-development since. You can find him on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and on https://soulsurferschool.com/
In part 2 of my chat with Tim, he brings it on life, relationships, sex and masculinity…and what inspires him to create, contribute in a meaningful way. If this is the only thing you listen to today, you will be better for it – he really brings it in the last 20mins or so. Enjoy!
