Original members James J.T. Taylor and Robert “Kool” Bell reunited to perform a medley of Kool & the Gang’s greatest hits. They thrilled the audience with classics like “Get Down on It” and “Celebration.”

A star-studded lineup, including Demi Lovato and Kelly Clarkson, performed Foreigner’s biggest hits. Highlights included “Feels Like the First Time” and Lou Gramm shocked the crowd by joining Kelly Clarkson for “I Want to Know What Love Is.” Other performers alongside the acting members of the group included Chad Smith, Slash, and Sammy Hagar also making an appearance!

Dave Matthews honored the late Jimmy Buffett with an emotional tribute. “He made everyone feel special; he made me feel very special. I wish he could be here, but it’s too late,” he told the audience. He performed Buffett’s “A Pirate Looks at Forty,” bringing some audience members to shed a tear.
Dave Chappelle gave a heartfelt speech praising A Tribe Called Quest’s impact on hip-hop and their personal support for him. He also emotionally thanked the group for helping him return to TV after a 12-year absence. “You shared your platform with me and invited me to be on Saturday Night Live with you, and it brought me back to television after 12 years in the cold. And I will always be grateful for you,” he told them.
The Roots, Queen Latifah, Busta Rhymes, and more performed a high-energy tribute to A Tribe Called Quest. The performances included hits like “Can I Kick It?” and “Scenario,” with the crowd on their feet.
