Kelly Clarkson confessed that there were two times she had to stop her live show to poop. One time was when she got food poisoning in Germany and turned the bathroom into that scene from Bridesmaids. The other time was when she pooped in a trash can during a costume change at Staples Center in L.A.
Billy Joel’s song “We Didn’t Start The Fire” was a huge hit for a reason. The iconic star commented on world events from 1949 ‘til its release and 1989… but then again, that was over three decades ago. So, Fall Out Boy has done the only logical thing: updated it. The band pays homage to the original song while also remarking on events since the OG’s release. Kurt Cobain, 9/11, Brexit, Donald Trump (and his two impeachments) and Harry Potter are among the mentions Fall Out Boy drops in the new version. And even though Joel has admitted in the past that “I don't think (the song) was really that good, to begin with, melodically,” there’s no doubt it presents an interesting musical look back on a chaotic period in history.
A new poll of 2,000 adults who enjoy backyard BBQs found 28% admit to piling their plate with as much food as possible. Fear of the food running out, not being bothered to get up again for seconds, and having eyes bigger than their bellies were cited as the top reasons for plate-piling. Other classic BBQ archetypes include people who enjoy having food delivered to them so they never have to stand up. The 'food dropper' was also highlighted - someone who is notorious for ending up with more on the floor than on their plate. Nearly 18% think a BBQ will always have someone who insists on using silverware rather than eating with their hands. The research also found 32% claim they have to ‘hold back’ from eating all they want at a BBQ, for fear of being deemed greedy. Respondents typically attend 4 BBQs each a year, although 10% will attend up to 10. More than half (56%) claim BBQs are the best thing about summer, with 27% saying there's no limit to their appetite when at one.
