The Browns game on Sunday went from bad to worse in a hurry. Cincinnati returned the opening kickoff back for a touchdown. And, later in the game quarterback Deshaun Watson went down with an apparent Achilles injury, which could end his 2024 season. The Browns lost to the Bengals 21-14. Cleveland falls to 1-6 on the year. 

The Guardians season came to an end Saturday losing to the Yankees 5-2, ending Cleveland's postseason run in the ALCS after 5 games. And, we now know after last night that the Dodgers will be meeting New York in the Fall Classic. Los Angeles defeated the other New York team, the Mets, in the NLCS. Game 1 of the World Series will be on Friday night in L.A.

Snoop Dogg showed off a new talent as a weather forecaster during "TODAY", teaming up with Al Roker to deliver a cannabis-themed weather report. His humorous segment called out weather temperatures in places like Mary Jane Falls, Nevada and Blunt, South Dakota. The "TODAY" crew loved the fun segment, with Craig Melvin calling it the "best forecast, hands down". The Doggfather sat in during the whole show.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced yesterday that health officials are investigating an E. coli outbreak that’s sickened at least 49 people in 10 states, including one older person in Colorado who has died. The agency announced that the outbreak has been linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounders sold in those 10 states. McDonald’s said in a statement yesterday afternoon that “initial findings from the investigation indicate that a subset of illnesses may be linked to slivered onions,” which came from a single supplier. McDonald’s has pulled Quarter Pounders from the menu in the affected states.

Marvel actor Tom Holland has been teasing the development of Spider-Man 4 for weeks now, revealing last week that the latest draft of the script “lit a fire under him.” Even when offering that update however, Holland wouldn’t commit to any specific timeframe or release date for when the movie would get in front of cameras. That, coupled with news that he’s attached to Christopher Nolan’s new movie, has had fans wondering when Marvel’s Spider-Man 4 will finally get off the ground and start swinging. Now, thanks to Holland, we know. During an interview on “the Tonight Show,” Tom Holland confirms that there will be a Spider Man 4 coming out.

A man posing as a security guard was arrested at Taylor Swift's “Eras Tour” concert Friday night in Miami. Ivan Mariotti, was charged with falsely impersonating an officer and interfering with an entertainment event after police discovered him dressed in a suit wearing a badge over his neck near the field, without a ticket. Mariotti claimed he was hired by four women to escort them as a security guard, but police later confirmed he was actually their hired driver for the night, not a guard. He remains in custody with a $1,500 bond.

Brain Strain Question: Wednesday, October 23

The Cleveland Cavaliers begin their regular season campaign tonight in Toronto vs the Raptors at 7:30. A lot of anticipation this year with a new head coach, and Donovan Mitchell coming back.

But, our other All-Star guard is worried about one thing tonight as he heads north of the border.

The last time Darius Garland played in Toronto he got severely poked in the eye and missed close to two weeks. Where goggles like Horace Grant, Darius! Whatever you gotta do! The Cavs home opener will be on Friday night vs Detroit.
