J. Geils Band frontman extraordinaire Peter Wolf has released his new memoir Waiting on the Moon: Artists, Poets, Drifters, Grifters, and Goddesses and to celebrate sat down for an in-depth conversation with Pierre Robert on WMMR.

In this first part, Peter tells Pierre about shaping the book as a set of short stories about the people he has interacted with in his life, like how he met Bob Dylan in a restaurant and interrupts a bathroom business meeting of Sly Stone. Peter also regales us with his time working in radio and how that led to a very memorable interaction with Van Morrison.
