WKTY Outdoors has been on the air Saturday mornings for over 20 years.  The program, hosted by Kevin Millard, is a live broadcast of fishing tips directly from avid sportsmen.  You'll hear local experts right from the water.  National anglers will be interviewed about live bait versus lure presentation, techniques, technology and more.  Listeners can seek timely advice or offer suggestions based on the changing weather.  Kevin is extremely well connected in the fishing industry, and his “down-home” style of delivery makes Saturday mornings a relaxing and informative way to start the weekend.

Talking about thin ice and snow storms on the show today. The photo is from the Vernon County Sheriff's Office from the Stoddard landing where an ATV went through the ice. Fortunately, the two men on it were OK. Plus a pickup went through the ice on Lake Onalaska as well. The driver, too, was safe. Plus, dealing with the new snow covering up the thin ice makes for challenges getting out onto the ice this time of year. A good reminder to be careful when heading out.
