Can video game technology effectively treat PTSD? Dr. Skip Rizzo, Director of Medical Virtual Reality (VR) for the Institute for Creative Technologies at USC describes the VR currently being used at some VA facilities. Author Andrea Plate was a Social Worker at the West Los Angeles VA for 15 years. Her book “Madness, In the trenches of America’s troubled VA” describes her experiences helping vets.
