Art McClure and Bill Harnden in studio to help preview Thursday’s Lindy Shannon Tribute at Moon Tunes.
McClure is one of the original members of the Milly Maguires, the featured band this week, while Harnden is a La Crosse music enthusiast.
The two, along with Moon Tunes co-founder Terry Bauer, tell stories of Lindy Shannon, like when he interviewed Elvis in La Crosse.
We also talk about the music scene in the area and how Shannon was a big reason for that.
Along with the Molly Maguires playing, LB & the Hi Volts will open Moon Tunes. There will also be some other surprises and some story telling.
For those who are handicap and would like a ride to the venue, feel free to park at the Fish Hatchery on the north side of Riverside Park, and they will golf cart you toward the stage. Bicyclists can also basically valet park their bikes in the Smith’s bike corral.
There is also plenty of food and drink vendors, but guests are welcome to bring coolers of their own.
