Joining Vicki Markussen on La Crosse Talk this morning is Andrea Trane, La Crosse's Director of Planning and Development. 

In their conversation, they discuss a number of issues related to housing issues in the city. 

Specifically, they talked about how the "missing middle", what it is and how it is affecting the housing market. From there, the conversation covered the development of multi-family housing and its impact on neighborhoods. 

There was also discussion on the challenges of dealing with the regulations related to building and remodeling homes and businesses in the flood plain.

Lastly, Trane spoke about changes to zoning laws and what that means for homeowners, businesses, and developers.
