How to vote in-person, early in Pa.Pennsylvanians can vote by mail or vote in person at a polling place on Election Day.
The state doesn’t have early in-person voting, but there is a work around.
WITF’s Jordan Wilkie recorded himself requesting and returning a by-mail ballot, all in person and same day, at his county elections office.
Election officials say more people than ever before are voting same-day mail in ballots. Since election offices don’t have dedicated staff for this method, having lots of people show up all at once puts added strain on already thinly stretched staff and can backlog other important work.
