The co-founders of a central Pennsylvania theater group saw a massive pile of food scraps and cow manure…and decided to write a musical about it.

StateImpact Pennsylvania’s Rachel McDevitt got an early look at the show that literally sings the praises of turning farm waste into renewable energy.

Life Waste will be performed Friday and Saturday at 6pm on the Dickinson College Farm in Boiling Springs.
