Dr. Jacqueline Faherty, Senior Scientist & Senior Education Manager of American Museum of Natural History spoke on 1010 WINS Newsline. Dr. Faherty said this is the kind of mission that has been talked about for years, the kind of thing we should be attempting to protect ourselves in the case of an asteroid issue that may be coming our way. She said it will take a couple of orbits of the asteroid to know how successful it was and that will take a couple of days. -
