Sam Merriman grew up around rodeo, left the sport to pursue football where he became a state champion at Amphitheater High School, a star at Idaho and a high-level special teams performer in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks. Now he's back in his hometown  and to his 1st love, running one of Southern Arizona's premier annual events.
