At the Arlington Board of Selectmen's meeting on Sept. 11, eight neighbors who live near the green ash tree on Webcowet Road in Arlington Center spoke in support of not removing the tree. They note the shade it provides their community and the tree's longevity. Several Arlington residents reflect on trees the developer, Keith Lombardi, has already taken down in their neighborhood and how they finally have a means for speaking out against tree removal.
