205. Unit 731 - Japan's Covert Human Experimentation Program

View descriptionShare

Unit 731 is one of WWII's lesser known horrors. Imperial Japan's covert biological warfare research and development unit that engaged in brutal and inhumane experimentation on victims known as "logs."

These prisoners were infected with pathogens, deadly diseases from dysentery to the plague, studied and vivisected, all for the good of the Empire, and spearheaded by the sinister microbiologist Shiro Ishii.
