Interview with ISU faculty union leader amid contract talks

View descriptionShare

It's been nearly a year since the state of Illinois recognized the tenured and tenure-track faculty union at Illinois State University. And it's been just about that long that the two parties have been bargaining the 650-member union's first contract. Associate professor Keith Pluymers tells WGLT's Lyndsay Jones one point of frustration is that economic proposals (things that would determine salary and raises) have not been brought up so far.
