A McLean County program for people struggling with substance use and mental health has resulted in fewer brushes with the criminal justice system. That’s according to new data compiled for the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council [CJCC], an interagency group of law enforcement and criminal justice professionals in McLean County.

An airline's return to Central Illinois Regional Airport is delayed again. Signs from multiple airlines greet travelers as they enter CIRA, including one from United Airlines. A sign near the baggage claim advertises nonstop flights to and from CIRA to O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, but none of those flights will be arriving or departing anytime soon. CIRA Marketing and Communications Manager Melissa Beaver said the airport and United were ready to start offering four daily flights to and from O'Hare in May.
