Wellington's Mayor has taken the offer to meet with disruptive climate protesters off the cards.
Tory Whanau was willing to speak with Restore Passenger Rail supporters after they'd sat in traffic in a demonstration on Monday.
She was prepared to advocate for their demands, in good faith.
But Mayor Whanau says she's disappointed the group hit the streets again today, and blocked traffic on Adelaide Road.
She says a lot of the buses were backed up due to the protest and she can understand if people are frustrated.
