He says there are a range of cost effective projects that should be advanced, rather than light rail.

Green Party Candidate Julie Anne Genter wants it prioritised.

She says it will enable a lot more housing.

Labour Party Candidate Fleur Fitzsimons wants Let's Get Wellington Moving accelerated.

She says they will bring the second Mount Victoria Tunnel and mass rapid transit projects forward.
