Green co-leader Chlöe Swarbrick was kicked out of the House, after telling the speaker he has "double standards".
She questioned the speaker's treatment of different MPs and suggests not everyone plays by the same rulebook.
Nick Mills spoke to Swarbrick to get the details from the incident.
She says the Greens have made formal complaints about the leniency from the speaker towards certain ministers.
When asked about the standard of behaviour in parliament, Swarbrick told Mills " it's not so much a schoolyard in there these days, as much as it's a barnyard".
