Mark says that more traditional approaches to recovery have the tendency “tell people what’s wrong with them” instead of asking how the person feels. Mark currently works for Smart Recovery in program support. In this episode, Mark talks about alcohol culture, the stigma towards those with alcohol problems, and reframing how we see alcohol use disorder and recovery.
