Whiteman Park has been revealed as the new preferred location for Perth's $100 million state of the art film studio.
Fremantle port was secretly scrapped as the location after logistical problems and a budget blowout.
This afternoon Mark Gibson revealed on The Catch-Up that the state government and the developers are now pushing ahead with plans for a film studio at Whiteman Park, 25 minutes northeast of the CBD.
