Bruce’s Walk

 Bruce Blanchard is age 73, and is blindness due to  Cone Rod Dystrophy, and am profoundly deaf. 

He has  been inspired for many years to walk from Perth to  Kalgoorlie, a distance of 600kms, and decided to do it now. He has always enjoyed walking and have been training  seriously for the past few months. 

Bruce’s wife, Wendy will be support person and drive a back-up vehicle. The walk is expected to take about a month with a  few breaks. 

Friends Robyn & David Hovell are also supporting.. 

They  would like to raise funds for SozoLife, Thailand, a faith  based mission that rescues abused women and children  and teaches skills that enable independence.
