An undoubted success story of 2024 was the emergence of Auckland FC.
In their debut season, Auckland FC won their first six matches, didn't concede a goal until their sixth match, went unbeaten for their first seven matches and enter the new year four points clear at the top of the A-League ladder.
Their fan base grew rapidly, with sell-out crowds, or crowds reaching numbers above 13,000, fast becoming a regular occurrence at Go Media Stadium.
Auckland FC's Director of Football Terry McFlynn joins Jason Pine to reflect on the team's cracking start.
