The Auckland A-League have locked in their new men's head coach Steve Corica who will lead them into their inaugural season next year.

Corica has been the manager for Sydney FC for 16 years.

He spoke with Jason Pine on weekend sport and told him that it is good to be here in Auckland and that the his role feels "new and fresh".
