One of the most watched sporting events in the world gets underway tonight as the Tour de France sets off in Lille.
Only one Kiwi is competing in this year’s race, 22 year old Laurence Pithie hoping to score a few stage wins for Germany’s Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe.
Sam Bewley is over in France as well, the Director of Sport for Israel Premier Tech.
He joined the show to discuss the scale of the race, and what he hopes his team will achieve over the next three weeks.
