The Breakers are confident of putting their pre-season woes behind them in tonight's NBL opener against Brisbane in Perth.
The Kiwi outfit lost all four of their preseason games, while the red-hot Bullets won six of their seven, including the Blitz preseason tournament.
Breakers guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright says Brisbane should be feeling confident, but the Breakers also like their chances.
He told Jason Pine he feels very strongly about the new group.
“I know guys that have played in this league, a good mixture of veterans experience and, you know, some hungry guys that, you know, are eager to prove themselves. So I think it's, it's the making of a team that can really have a good season.”
