Annual Auckland-based WTA 250 tournament, the ASB Classic, is set to take place on January 5th to January 11th with players like Venus Williams, Elina Svitolina, and Emma Navarro taking to the court. 

ASB Classic Tournament director Nico Lamperin joined Jason Pine to chat ahead of the tournament's start on Monday.
