A call for netball to keep evolving if it's to compete in an increasingly cut-throat sports market.

The national body could be facing a major revenue shortfall if Sky TV follows through with an expected multi-million dollar slashing of the fees it pays for broadcast rights.

ZB netball commentator Malcolm Jordan says Kiwi netball has 12 months to branch out and find new revenue sources- so there could be hope for the sport.
