This weekend was a big one for sport, with the Black Ferns dominating the Rugby World Cup finale last night.

The match came pretty close, but the final score came out to 34- 31. Both teams played well, with England maintaining their dignity despite the loss.

And it's not even over yet for New Zealand rugby- we have the All Blacks vs Scotland test to look forward to in the early hours of Monday morning.

Samoa also performed well in the Rugby League World Cup against England, with a final score of 26- 27.

All in all, this gave James McOnie, sports commentator from The Crowd Goes Wild plenty to talk about!

The Crusaders christened their new stadium with a 35-20 triumph over the Waratahs to kickoff Super Rugby's Super Round in Christchurch. 

The hosts responded to going down 6-nil early, to lead 14-13 at the break, before running in five tries to two. 

Former Crusaders Coach Robbie Deans and current Assistant Coach Matt Todd joined Piney for a chat about the new stadium and what it means for the city, and a few tales of their time coaching and playing.
