The White Ferns have returned home with the T20 World Cup in tow. 

They claimed their maiden title with a 32-run victory over South Africa after entering the tournament having lost 10 straight matches.  

The trophy is on tour around New Zealand, Maddy Green and Izzy Gaze among the Ferns touring with it. 

Green and Gaze joined Piney in studio for a chat about the team’s incredible achievement.  

“It was cool just looking up in that sort of last over knowing that we were gonna win, and seeing the smiles on everyone's faces and yeah, just the pure joy, was pretty, pretty fantastic.”
