Les Bleus are preparing for their test against the All Blacks, buoyed by the return of their captain Antoine Dupont from his time in the French 7s team.  

They’ll be facing off at Paris’ Stade de France tomorrow morning, from 9am New Zealand time. 

Piney catches up with experienced French Rugby journalist Ian Borthwick to discuss how much Dupont brings to the French side, and what he expects from the upcoming test

The New Zealand Falcons are off to the AFL Pacific Cup. 

They’ve named their team, which is set to travel over to Queensland’s Sunshine Coast to compete from the 17th through to the 25th of November.  

Piney was joined by their head coach Chris Mundell to learn more about it and discuss their chances in the cup. 

“We think we're going over with a stronger team across the board than we have probably ever put forward.”

New Zealand’s premier hockey league has gotten a bit of a redesign. 

Hockey NZ sees the new league as the pinnacle of domestic hockey, representing an exciting addition to the existing hockey pathway and offering high-level competition for both men and women coming through the ranks.  

Piney caught up with former Black Sticks captain Peter Miskimmin to discuss the new league's origins and innovations. 

“We have been a bit barren of top flight elite hockey, provincial hockey, in New Zealand for quite some time.” 

“So this is really a play from New Zealand Hockey to create more products and more content for New Zealand Hockey fans to, to see and experience.”
