Liam Lawson's been given the chance of a lifetime - and the pressure is on for him to prove himself in Formula One.

The Kiwi driver's been promoted to the Racing Bulls team for the rest of the season.

Motorsport expert Eric Thompson joined Piney to discuss what this means for Lawson.

The Kiwis are looking to bounce back from their loss to the Kangaroos. 

They’re taking on Tonga this evening at Mt Smart Stadium in the Pacific Championship. 

Piney catches up with their assistant coach Steve Price to chat about how they responded to their last loss. 

He said that they’ve built up their intensity over the week, getting some volume into the team. 

“We got a couple days off too, so, you know, the tank will be filled up and we’ll be ready to throw down hard again.”

Kiwi Canoeist Alicia Hoskin is now one of our talented athletes who have taken home multiple Olympic Golds in the same Games after her success in Paris. 

She joined Piney to reflect on her golden Games and her journey to the top of the podium.  

“What an absolute privilege to be able to compete with these girls and to be in a place like Paris doing it.”

The All Blacks aren’t likely to receive a warm welcome at Twickenham. 

After falling to the boys in black earlier this year, the English will be aiming to cut them off at the knees to claim the win for themselves. 

Piney caught up with former English midfielder Will Greenwood for a chat about the team’s chances in their third clash of the year.  

Greenwood says that for England to be considered a world class team, they’ll have to win three out of four matches at home. 

“We’ve got to turn over one of you or South Africa, and on form, I think we have to identify a victory over New Zealand as a very realistic, not overly ambitious target.”
