Wellington Phoenix have parted ways with club centurion David Ball, freeing up a spot ahead of the A-League's transfer window.

The club and English striker Ball said in a statement they'd 'mutually agreed' to terminate the remaining six months of his playing contract, ending five and a half years at the Phoenix.

Ball joined Piney to explain further.

Manchester City has found themselves in hot water, facing the biggest challenge in the club's history. 

They've reportedly been found guilty of breaking 114 of the 115 financial rules they were accused of breaching. 

City has vowed to appeal the verdict, but the possibility of severe sanctions hangs heavy over the pitch. 

England Correspondent Jon Norman told Piney with that many charges, it's not just carelessness, it seems to be systematic and endemic cheating on a scale the League has never seen.
