A significant match for Auckland FC this afternoon.
It was a rough start to the year for the club, with three losses and only one win in January – including a last-minute defeat at the hands of Perth Glory.
They’re taking on Sydney FC today, the two sides currently tied at 25 points on the A-League ladder – two points behind Newcastle.
Auckland FC Defender Dan Hall told Piney they’re obviously experiencing a rather challenging time right now, but they have the talent and determination in the team to get out of the rut.
