Dame Lisa Carrington has made New Zealand sporting history as an eight-time gold medallist, but she's acknowledged the journey that led to her sporting success.
She's still got her heart set on continuing her canoeing hot streak at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, even with a baby on the way due for September.
