Theres now less than 500 days until the new Christchurch stadium is scheduled to be completed.
Venues Otautahi is overseeing the build of Te Kaha, and CEO Caroline Harvie-Teare joined the show to give an update on where the construction is at and the plans for when the build is complete.
Harvie-Teare told Piney that they’re designing a programme of events for the first 3-6 months after the stadium’s completion.
She says they want to get as many people in their community through that building as possible, as well as showcase the diversity of the venue, and drive visitation to the area.
