The Tasman Mako have lifted the Ranfurly Shield for the first time in their history - beating holders Hawke's Bay 25-24.

Tasman had never previously won the Log O' Wood since the unions of Nelson Bays and Marlborough combined in 2006.

Campbell Parata, the man behind the match-winning penalty shot, joined D'Arcy Waldegrave to discuss the victory.
