With England in town for the All Blacks tests, RFU CEO Bill Sweeney stopped by for a chat with Piney.
They talked the state of the Northern Hemisphere game and the relationship between NZR and the RFU.
He told Piney that they’re a lot closer now in terms of where they want to get with the shape of the game.
But, Sweeney said, the biggest challenge the sport faces on a global scale is attracting a younger audience.
