Murky times ahead for New Zealand Rugby, with the organisation facing a projected $66 million loss over the next five years. 

Their financial woes led to the major summit earlier this week, in which they looked at the forecast and potential roadmaps for the future. 

Former Hurricanes CEO Avan Lee told Piney it's a really complicated environment to tackle. 

He says both Super Rugby and the NPC are really good competitions on their own, there just needs to be some innovation because it won't be sustainable going ahead.
