A record-breaking batting effort hasn't been enough to prevent a fourth straight defeat for New Zealand at the Cricket World Cup in India.

New Zealand will still qualify for the semifinals if they beat Sri Lanka on Thursday.
NZ Herald sportswriter Andrew Alderson joins Piney to recap the loss.
