There’s a number of big names backing Auckland’s new football club. 

Former All Black Ali Williams is one such name, joining Bill Foley as a member of Auckland FC’s ownership group.  

He joined Jason Pine to discuss his hopes for the club, as they prepare to make their A-League debut at Mount Smart Stadium. 

“It's about fan engagement, it's about getting a buy in, it's about getting a belief that we're not here for a short term, we're here for a long term.”
