The Oky App is a period tracker and menstrual health app created for South African teenage girls and young women. It encourages them to take control of their periods and serve as peer mentors on menstrual health and hygiene (MHH), placing them at the heart of digital solutions for menstrual hygiene and health.

LoveLife’s vision seeks to ensure that young people are empowered with information that enables them to make informed decisions related to their overall health and to identify opportunities using a peer-led model to address challenges they face.

eThekwini Municipality is ready to host Africa’s largest horseracing event, with the City’s tourism and hospitality industry prepared for the scores of visitors descending on Durban. The Hollywoodbets Durban July takes place on 6 July at the Greyville Racecourse. Themed ‘Ride the Wave’, the prestigious horseracing event  and fashion extravaganza is expected to attract approximately 45 000 visitors to Durban with 78 percent accommodation occupancy rates expected.



There are nine Community Tourism Organisations in Durban that are partly funded by eThekwini Municipality so that they promote tourism with their regions across eThekwini. More on this we are joined on the line by Rhino Moepadira - Chairperson of Durban West Community Tourism Organisation.

There is a large variety of activities available in and around Ifafi aquatic club.

At the club we have sailing , waterskiing, fishing and a few more. Also, in the surrounding area, you can find activities to suit you and your family like the Elephant park, zoo, aquarium, flea market and galleries, the list goes on.

A mere 35 kms West of Pretoria, in the valley formed by the Magaliesberg and Witwatersberg lies this tranquil dam and it’s surrounding towns and villages. The main purpose of the dam is still irrigation, but people enjoy the dam for various reasons such as boating, fishing and water skiing.

About Thando Ngwenyama.


Thando Ngwenyama, born in in Nelspruit (Mbombela)… I grew up in Soshanguve
where I attended my Primary and High School. I went to Soshanguve college
where I did Public Relation.
Worked for the Corporate Industry from 2007 until 2022… with the love of cooking
taught by my Parents from Family Braais and gatherings. I decided to go into
the food business... Where I started Hungover.
With the Love and Passion for Food, I decided to introduce the Babalaz Meals to
the City of Gauteng to change the thinking behind Babalaz healing.

We are a #babalaz shop that provides suitable meals for any type of Hangover.
