Personal watercraft have not been allowed North of the Graham Farmer Freeway's Windan Bridge, leaving an area for kayaking, rowing and other unpowered weekend activities.

But that could change, with the Department of Transport looking at whether jet skis and personal watercraft should be allowed as part of a 2 year trial.
