Suburban Focus heads to Bayswater this week with the help of Bayswater Historical Society secretary Glen Cookson. 

In 1905 German scientist Dr Kurt Hessen traveled across the world to establish a weather station in Perth for what was at the time ground-breaking research. 

Over one hundred years later the weather station is largely forgotten, but the Bayswater Historical Society is hoping to recognize its history.
