The City of Cape Town will be opposing Eskom’s 44% price hike at the National Energy Regulator of South Africa’s public hearings tomorrow. Alderman Xanthea Limberg, together with a delegation from the City, will be making oral and written submissions on Eskom’s Multi-Year Price Determination for the period between 2025/26 to 2027/28.
