John Robbie is a man one who’s life story and how he started living in South Africa is closely linked to Rugby. John moved from Ireland to South Africa 30 years ago, as an international rugby player and joined 702 shortly after the station launched in the early 80s. John recently made a comeback to the broadcast and media landscape as the host of two new shows on the History channel that tell some of Africa’s most intriguing stories titled “Great African Mysteries and Great African Escapes”.
