Gugu Mhlungu profiles Dr Pali Lehohla, who is a research associate at Oxford, professor of practice at the University of Johannesburg and a former statistician-general of SA. Dr Lehohla is the former Statistician General of South Africa and former head of Statistics South Africa, a position he held since 2000 up to October 2017.  Dr Lehohla speaks on his career, the state of governance at the moment and on the objectives of the newly launched, Economic Modelling Academy.
